Founded in Alexandria in 2017, JIWAR GROUP is a multidisciplinary design and execution practice built around a simple belief: meaningful spaces begin with people.

Led by Architect Safwat Salama, Founder & CEO, and Architect Mai Hal, Co-Founder & COO, JIWAR approaches architecture as a continuous relationship between people and place — where wellbeing, comfort, performance, and sustainability become essential drivers of every design decision.

JIWAR’s growth has been shaped by a deliberate strategy focused on integrated expertise, long-term partnerships, and sustainable regional expansion. Rather than pursuing growth for its own sake, the Group has prioritized design integrity and operational consistency, allowing JIWAR to expand while preserving the values and quality that define its work.

In 2024, JIWAR expanded into Saudi Arabia with the establishment of its Jeddah branch, following a strategic partnership with Dr. Suliman Al-Rimi. In 2025, the opening of the Group’s Cairo office in Fifth Settlement further strengthened JIWAR’s presence across Egypt and the Gulf.

In Saudi Arabia, JIWAR positions itself beyond the role of a transactional consultancy. We work as a design partner, developing architectural and interior solutions that respond to local regulations, market requirements, operational performance, and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while maintaining our commitment to human-centered design.
